HTC U11 Camera Scores a Soaring 90-Points by DxOMark

Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC unveiled their 2017 flagship phone, the U11, earlier this year. While the model packs a lot of enticing features that can convince you to invest your money, it is the smartphone’s camera that has really got people buzzing. The company does not only take pride in the fact that the U11 sports a great camera, but also it has an impressive 90-score rating by DxOMark to back up those claims.

HTC U11 Camera Gets a Score of 90 from DxOMark

Every single aspect of the HTC U11 has struck a chord with tech-savvy individuals. Its sleek design, specs, and features have made it one of the most highly-anticipated releases this year. In a press conference, HTC has announced that the phone managed to receive the highest rating by the website DxOMark, which is a huge achievement for the company.

Before getting to the rating, it is time to take a look at the HTC U11 camera specs. Users can expect a 12-megapixel camera with fast autofocus, f/1.7 aperture lens, and optical image stabilization. In addition to that, you also get a dual-LED and dual-tone flash next to it. The front camera boasts a 16-megapixel snapper, perfect for taking HD selfies. You may also shoot RAW images up to 4K resolution. It is no question that HTC knows how to maintain their style, considering the impressive performance of the HTC 10’s camera last year which was given a score of 88 by DxOMark.

The 90 points rating by DxOMark puts the U11 ahead of the Google Pixel, which managed to get a score of 89 in 2016. As of this writing, DxOMark has yet to update their website with the HTC U11 score along with the details on how they came up with such a high rating. But it is safe to assume that its performance under a wide range of conditions makes it an outstanding choice for novice and professional photographers alike.
